UFile.ca is offering free online tax preparation where
the total family income is $25,000 or less. Note: May have browser
limitiations to access. UFile immediately checks your browser for
compatibility and lets you know if there are any problems. Visit

WebTax4U.ca from MacroNT Inc. is another online service
that provides free income tax preparation for individuals or families
with total income of $25,000 or less. Their regular pricing for tax
preparation is the lowest this year at $11.99 for the first member and
$5.99 for each additional member. Note: Browser limitations to access.

Inuit (Quick Tax Web) is also offering free online tax preparation
service but only to very low income individuals (gross household income
(line 150 of return) of $20,000 or less). See

StudioTax
is free, downloadable tax software for all Canadians who do their own
income tax returns, regardless of income.

The National Child Benefit is a monthly payment to
low-income families with children, and benefits and services designed
and delivered by the provinces and territories to meet the needs of
