Volunteers and Placements

Volunteers are always welcome at our clinic. At the present time we are accepting volunteers who are:

  •  Students seeking co-op placements (high school, college, university)

  •  Willing to provide special skills (like photography at clinic events, software
     and computer training)

  •  Interested in work on a "community law school" project

  •  Able to assist with special projects

Contact us at clinicoutreach@communitylegalcentre.ca. Please fill out and mail in (or fax) our Volunteer Application Form and provide us with a copy of your resume or a letter expressing your interest.  Alternatively, you can fill out our online volunteer application form.

We will provide training specific to the projects being assigned, and orientation to the Clinic's services, mandate & philosophy.

We currently have a Volunteer Task Force made up of clinic staff and Board members to explore developing a larger volunteer program. We are seeking Trillium funding to expand our volunteer program and hire a volunteer program developer.  If successful, this will begin in 2007.
