Prior to joining the clinic in 1997, Marieanne worked in a
private law office for 6 years. She is a licensed paralegal
and holds the position of community legal worker with specific
training in Ontario Disability Support Program Appeals. Marieanne also handles other social assistance matters in addition
to ODSP and represents clients at appeal hearings before the
Social Benefits Tribunal.
Sharon has been with the clinic since August
2002. She is a community legal worker and a licensed
paralegal. She is the case manager for the clinic's Criminal Injuries Compensation
Board files. She is passionate about helping victims of abuse find
closure and receive compensation. Sharon also oversees our volunteer
