Service Canada - Reconsideration Process - If you disagree with a decision of Service Canada, such as EI benefits being refused, you can request a reconsideration - you must request a reconsideration before you can appeal to the Social Security Tribunal

 

 

First and Second Level Appeals:

 

Social Security Tribunal - General Division - 1st level appeal - where you first appeal a decision of the EI Commission (if your EI benefits have been refused, or you have to repay benefits or had a penalty assessed)

 

Social Security Tribunal - Appeal Division - 2nd level appeal - appealing a decision of the General Division
