Disability Support Team - Helping disabled homeowners with repairs

The Disability Support Team (DST) is a not-for-profit organization which is committed to assisting the many disabled individuals in our community who own their home, requiring practical home improvements. The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) and Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) have done a great job providing disabled homeowners with finances to meet their basic residential/renovation needs, but many individuals still are faced with other limiting challenges in and around their home. DST looks to step in and practically address remaining issues after prudent analysis of submitted applications by their review board.

If you are disabled and require repairs/improvements to your home, and are not covered or have exhausted coverage provided by ODSP or CMHC, contact the Disability Support Team for help.  Visit their website at http://www.disabilitysupportteam.com to apply or call your ODSP worker to assist you in making an application.
