Pro Bono Law Ontario (PBLO)

 

Pro Bono Ontario provides assistance to those starting a non-profit/charity through their online Charity Start-Up Tool Box.  They also offer free legal advice to eligible charitable and non-profit organizations in Ontario that otherwise could not afford the services of a lawyer.  Fill in their online application form to apply.

Also, visit the Ministry of the Attorney General's website to view the Not-for-Profit Incorporator's Handbook.  It provides some general information on the nature of a not-for-profit corporation and guidelines on how to incorporate such a corporation.
