Referrals - Other Legal Services

For areas of law that we do not cover, you can still get legal advice from other sources, such as:

Legal Clinics

Speciality clinics offer information and advice in one particular area of interest.  If you live outside of the geographic area we cover, you may have to call a clinic in your area for help.  Visit our Legal Clinics page for more details.

Legal Aid

Legal Aid provides advice at their advice clinics and offers certificates to get assistance from private bar lawyers in the areas of criminal law, family law, and immigration.  Visit our Legal Aid page for more details and links.

Private Bar / Pro Bono

Call a private bar member to assist in areas where a legal clinic or legal aid cannot.  The Law Society Referral Service will give you up to 30 minutes of advice for free.  There are also volunteer lawyers who can assist low income clinics via the Pro Bono project.  Please visit our Private Bar page for more details.
